The Green County Meat Animal Auction Committee in coordination with Extension Green County will host the Meat Animal Auctions on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023. The 48th  4-H & FFA Annual Fur & Feather Auction will begin at 10:00 AM. The 38th Annual 4-H & FFA Large Animal Auction will be held starting at 12:30pm. Both auctions will be in the Mayer Transport Showbarn (Barn 7) at the Green County Fairgrounds, 2600-10th Street, Monroe, WI.

Participating in the Auctions is a privilege obtained by following the guidelines and rules specific to the species being auctioned. For a complete listing of the rules, please print the 2024 Meat Animal Livestock Auction Rules and the 2024 Junior Fair General_Rules

NOTE for 2024-

NEW THIS YEAR– Photos submitted for the Green County Fair Meat Animal Auctions MUST INCLUDE BOTH THE YOUTH AND THE ANIMAL and be a horizontal picture. It must be a current year photo and cannot be Photoshopped.

Appropriate clothing MUST BE worn for the auction according to the Green County Fair General Rules Dress Code which can be found in the General Rules above.
