March 11, 2008 ~ A Shooting Sports Kickoff Meeting will be held at 7:00 pm, at the Government Services Building Auditorium for all shooting sports participants. See you there!

NATIONAL 4-H SHOOT PARTICIPATION
Congratulations to Amanda Butson & Brett Hefty for being invited to participate in the National 4-H Shoot, held in June, 2008 in Grand Island, Nebraska. They were two of a four person team who competed in the week long event.
Amanda placed 13th overall and Brett placed 32nd overall out of 51 competitors. The team placed 4th overall out of 17 teams. Great Job by both outstanding youth!

Air Rifle workshops
will be held Thursday nights starting April 24 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The workshops will be held at the South Central WI Archers (SCWA)
Indoor Range in Monroe. The first session is MANDATORY!!!
To claim fair premium, all three targets must be mounted on 14x22 poster board and displayed at the Green County Fair. (Shooter's Certification Card is optional)

Archery
Archery workshops will
be held Tuesday nights starting April 22. The workshops will
be held at the South Central WI Archers (SCWA) Indoor Range in
Monroe. The first session starts at 6:30 and is MANDATORY!!! All other sessions start at 5:30.
To claim fair premium, targets must be mounted on 22x28 poster board and displayed at the Green County Fair.

Shotgun
Shotgun shoots will
be held Friday nights/Saturday mornings starting April 4 at the
Blackhawk Sportsman's Club, 2773 Cty B, South Wayne. Take Hwy
69 South out of Monroe, turn right on Cty B. The first session
is MANDATORY!!!
To claim fair premium, fair shoot must be mounted on 11x14 poster board and displayed at the Green County Fair.
Note: Friday rain dates will be made up on Saturday; Saturday rain dates will be made up that afternoon!
