Green County HCE Members Gather for Cultural Arts Event

Green County HCE members held a Cultural Arts event on April 14. All HCE members are encouraged to enter their projects - this year the entries ranged from written essays, photography, textile projects to wood and cement items. Ursula Meier, of the Jefferson HCE is chairman of the event. All HCE participants who entered exhibits were recognized. This years show we honored the top judged exhibit with the "Best of Show" award. Mary Ann Krebs of the City Country Mixers club received this honor. "Viewers Choice" Award was given to Kathy Weaver from the Country Aires club.

Educational program included at the Cultural Arts event was a Scrap booking and card making demonstration by Renee Stetterstorm from Scrapbook Haven. Everyone in attendance was able to complete a fun card project to take home.
